Glovebox Keeper

Privacy Policy

Last updated 17 September 2026. Applies to Glovebox Keeper version 1.0 for iPhone and iPad, published by Trident Media.

Data not collected

Glovebox Keeper is a car glovebox organiser that keeps everything on your own device. There are no accounts, no sign-in and no servers behind the app. It makes no network requests at all, which means nothing you type, photograph or log is sent to us or to anyone else.

Because we never receive your information, there is nothing for us to read, share or sell. Our App Store privacy answer is “Data Not Collected”.

What the app stores on your device

Everything listed below is saved in the app's own storage on your iPhone or iPad, and in the shared app-group container so the home-screen widget can show what is due next. None of it is transmitted off the device.

The Road Guide's 30 reference articles are bundled inside the app and read offline. Opening one is not recorded anywhere beyond your device.

Permissions the app asks for

Camera

Requested only so you can photograph a document with the scanner. The app never uses the camera in the background and never uploads an image.

Photo library

Requested only when you choose an existing photo to attach to a paper or a service receipt. The app reads the image you pick and stores its own copy; it does not browse or index the rest of your library.

Save to Photos

If you tap “Save to Photos”, the app writes a copy of that image back to your photo library. This happens only when you ask for it.

Notifications

Reminders are local notifications scheduled on the device by iOS: a nudge a set number of weeks before an expiry, one the day before, a due-service reminder, and an optional weekly driveway check. There is no push server and nothing leaves the device to make a reminder work. Permission is requested in context and can be withdrawn in the app or in iOS Settings at any time.

What we collect

Nothing. Glovebox Keeper contains no analytics, no advertising, no crash reporting service, no trackers and no third-party software development kits. There is no login, no profile and no way for the app to contact a server. If you email us for support, we will only have whatever you choose to include in that email.

How long your data is kept, and how to delete it

Your records stay on your device until you remove them, and removal is entirely in your hands:

Device backups. If your device is backed up to iCloud or to a computer, the backup includes the app's data, just as it includes data from your other apps. Those backups are handled by Apple under Apple's terms, not by us, and we have no access to them.

Children

Glovebox Keeper is a tool for drivers and is not directed at children under 13. It collects no information from anyone, including children.

Your privacy rights

Privacy laws such as the EU and UK GDPR, the California Consumer Privacy Act, the Australian Privacy Act 1988 and the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020 give you rights to access, correct, export or delete personal information a company holds about you.

We hold none of yours. Since your records never leave your device, you already have full access: you can view and edit any record in the app, and delete any part of it or all of it whenever you like. There is no request for us to fulfil and no account for us to close. If you have a question about how any of this works, write to us and we will answer it.

Changes to this policy

If the app changes in a way that affects privacy, we will update this page and change the date at the top. The same policy is available inside the app under Settings. If a future version ever did more than store data on your device, we would say so here plainly and ask for your permission first.

Contact

Any question about this policy or about the app goes through the contact form on our support page. It reaches the same people and needs no email account. Replies usually come within two business days.
